Between the upcoming ad analysis essay and our past literary essay, I don't think much will be the same. One of the few similarities will be that we'll be doing explaining in each. The first essay was explaining a time we had been through in a story and in this next essay we will be explaining what we think the ad author was trying to accomplish. The difference is that in the ad analysis essay we will be analyzing more then our other essay. The tone may be different in the second essay. In my first essay the tone was somewhat neutral, in the next essay i have a feeling it will have a more serious tone. Dealing with tobacco and the debate to ban it may have more dark facts. The purpose is no longer to tell a story, not its to explain a story if you must. Meaning explain my ads meaning both obvious and not obvious.
